Madam Founder What's The 411? #1
Born in the bustling city of Chicago, IL, and raised in P.G. County, Maryland, I am Kelli McGill, a mother, entrepreneur, artist, community, and awareness advocate. My journey began in the Windy City, but it was in Maryland where I found my calling and my community.
As a proud mother of four incredible children, my life is a beautiful tapestry of love, laughter, and learning. They are my greatest achievements and my source of endless inspiration. Balancing motherhood with my professional endeavors has been a dance of its own, one that I've choreographed with care and passion.
For the past 12 years, I have been the heart and soul behind Perfection in Motion Dance Studio. It's more than a business; it's a sanctuary where the arts come alive, where young dancers find their rhythm, and where I share my love for the performing arts. Dance is not just movement; it's a language that speaks to the soul, and teaching it is my way of conversing with the world.
Away from the studio, you can find me indulging in the sweet art of baking. It's my slice of heaven, a time when I can whisk away the stresses of life and create something delightful and delicious. It's a reminder that life, much like baking, requires patience, precision, and a sprinkle of joy.
Professionally, I wear a different hat as an HR Specialist for a medical staffing company. Here, I blend my analytical skills with my innate ability to connect with people, ensuring that healthcare professionals are placed where they can make the most significant impact. It's a role that fulfills my desire to contribute to the well-being of others.
Community is the cornerstone of my ethos. Being community-oriented means being involved, being present, and being committed to making a difference. It's about building bridges, fostering relationships, and creating a network of support and growth.
The inception of GPL, alongside a group of like-minded women, has been a blessing. It's a testament to the power of unity, vision, and shared goals. GPL is not just an organization; it's a movement, a collective heartbeat that echoes our aspirations for the present and our dreams for the future.
I am excited about what lies ahead. With every step, every leap, and every pirouette, I move forward with confidence and grace, eager to see the wonders that GPL will unveil. Here's to the journey, the discoveries, and the many performances yet to come. Let the show begin!

Madam Founder Growing Pains #2
I hail from the heart of our nation's capital, Washington D.C., and grew up in the vibrant Prince George’s County, Maryland. This unique blend of urban and suburban life has deeply influenced my perspective and values.
My academic journey began at Laurel High School, a place that laid the foundation for my future endeavors. It was here that I discovered my passion for learning and community involvement. Furthering my education, I embraced the diverse learning environments of Prince George’s Community College and Norfolk State University. These institutions not only broadened my academic horizons but also enriched my understanding of different cultures and ideas.
Along the way, I've acquired a diverse skill set, holding certificates in data analysis, professional bartending, and food services. These varied experiences have equipped me with a unique blend of analytical, interpersonal, and practical skills. Whether it's crunching numbers, crafting the perfect cocktail, or ensuring top-notch food service, I bring dedication and enthusiasm to everything I do.
These days, you can find me relaxing with my son by the pool in the summer and year round, channeling my passion for community and service into my role as a Lounge Manager for a non-profit organization. In both capacities, I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Additionally, as a Co-Founder of GPL, I am committed to making a positive impact every day. Through GPL, I aim to foster community engagement and provide valuable resources and support to those in need.

Madam Founder Breakthrough #3
I’m Tyshika Britten-Booker, also known as Madame Founder Breakthrough, born and raised in the heart of Washington D.C. I’m a proud mother of six beautiful children, and I dedicate my life to nurturing and guiding them.
My work as a peer breastfeeding counselor for DC WIC allows me to support other mothers in a journey that’s close to my heart.
As a licensed cosmetologist and hair instructor, I empower others through the art of beauty, teaching skills that foster self-confidence and creativity. When I’m not working or mothering, you’ll find me lost in a book, singing my heart out, or dancing like nobody’s watching.
I live by the words, “When a person shows you who they are, believe them.” It’s a reminder to trust our instincts about people and to be authentic in how we present ourselves to the world. That’s the real me – a nurturer, educator, and believer in the power of authenticity.

Madam Share My World #6
Hi, I'm Jayme Bundy-Braxton, and I'm thrilled to share a bit about my journey with you. Born on July 6, 1985, I've always embraced life with a vibrant spirit and a heart full of love. As a proud mother of four incredible children, my days are filled with joy, laughter, and the occasional chaos that comes with raising a family.
One of my greatest passions is early childhood education, which is why I chose to become a preschool teacher. Every day, I have the privilege of shaping young minds and witnessing the wonder of discovery through their eyes. It's a career that brings me immense fulfillment and purpose.
In addition to my professional life, I'm honored to be Founder #6 "Share My World" of GPL, a community initiative close to my heart. This organize allows me to give back and connect with others in meaningful ways, fostering a sense of unity and support.
When it comes to personal style, I adore the colors pink, black, and silver. These hues reflect different facets of my personality—pink for my nurturing side, black for my strength and resilience, and silver for my elegance and grace.
My life motto is one that I hold dear: "The day you understand why someone does something crazy, is the day you become as crazy as them." It reminds me to approach life with empathy and an open mind, always seeking to understand rather than judge.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. I'm excited about the future and all the wonderful experiences it holds.
