Gamma Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. has proudly remained committed to serving the community through meaningful outreach and impactful events. Since 2021, GPL has participated annually in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk, honoring loved ones and supporting awareness for those affected. In 2022, Sorors joined the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, standing in solidarity with survivors and raising awareness for research and prevention. GPL also took part in My Sister’s Keeper Community House Makeover, where our chapter received awards for the best room transformation, showcasing our creativity and dedication. Beyond events, GPL has given back through donations such as personal hygiene care bags to the men’s homeless shelter in Washington, D.C., offering essentials with dignity and care. In April 2025, GPL hosted its very own Easter Eggstravaganza for children, creating a joyful and family-centered experience for the community. Looking ahead, we are excited to volunteer with The Storehouse for an upcoming toy drive, continuing our mission of service and support. With every initiative, GPL remains deeply committed to uplifting others, and we look forward with excitement to all the impactful community service opportunities that lie ahead.
